Nexus children are busy; They are learning to build things, make things, cook, read etc. They are going places, searching for things, playing games etc. They are  learning the language that is a part of those activities; In the stream of activity according to the circumstances and transactions within activity.

Nexus children are learning to talk about what they are doing, how to do things, where they went, who they saw, what they did or will do. They are learning to solve problems, and most important, they are seeking others out, asking, telling, inviting, negotiating, cajoling...

Nexus children are learning 1:1. They learn the rudiments and constituents of language which are engineered for use in more complex linguistic demands across a multitude of activities, transactions and circumstances.
